Students Build 3D Printed Mobile Mini Homes

A group of students from the University of Huddersfield and the University of California, under the guidance of several professors and researchers, developed a unique concept of a mini-house printed on a 3D printer.

The experimental mini home offers all the needed amenities: a kitchen, a bathroom, a bed and a desk. It is noteworthy that this capsule can be placed anywhere and it’s easily transported. Under the floor, the structure has a technical compartment as well as a small storage space. The bathroom is combined with a wash basin. Also, there is a retractable toilet and a small fridge in the kitchen. All the artificial lighting is built in the walls and ceiling.
