Japanese artist from the town of Narita, who calls herself Sakae, creates luxuriously exquisite hair ornaments, using resin and thin brass wire.
Each ornament is made by hand, and the creation of one item can take
from three to thirty days of work. Most of the decorations are
traditional Japanese Kanzashi. The works of Sakae are incredibly popular
in her country. The last of her works was sold at an auction for
400,000 yen (about $3,900).
