The construction of the park began in the first half of the sixteenth century, and was completed by the end of the century. It includes about thirty sculptures depicting mythological creatures and imagined animals. Visiting the Monster Park for inspiration was and is a very popular activity among creative people. And Salvador Dali was one of these people.
